Rule of Thirds

This assignment focused on taking placement photos, division photos, and combo photos. For placement photos, I tried taking them in the corners. For division photos, I divided the horizon in 1/3, while the rest of the image is 2/3’s either horizontal or vertically. Then for combo photos, I combined the idea of both placement and division photos in one photo.

  1. I really like the photos of the landscape. They are well edited and the lighting adds to the emotion of the photo. My favorite photo is the first one of the trees and clouds. Each of your photos are extremely different in color. Some are more bright and vibrant while others are cooler and the scale of colors stay fairly close in range. Maybe you could keep the vibrant one in a different album so your eye can look closely at the others.

  8. AWESOME! your photos are great! I really like the first two and the last two and the one of the brick and the phone. I think your explanation could be a tiny bit more detailed, but besides that, you're golden.

  9. The division and sheer beauty of your division shots are impeccable... they are SO fun to look at because they are so vibrant. With some of your placement photos, the could have been placed in the grid to better define the thirds. Good job!
