Experimental Sketchbook 2

This assignment was called Experimental Sketchbook 2, where I edited my photos I have taken previously. I edited my photos by putting my own thoughts/texts, my own poetic statements, or even poems into the photos. 

Experimental Sketchbook

This assignment was called Experimental Sketchbook, where we used our already taken images and edited them on picnik. The original photo is above each edited photo. Under each image I post, I will give a small description of what type effect I used for the image.

I took this image looking down and it was of the sidewalk, tree, and in the background, a car. I used the 'Neon' effect. I got to choose which color for the neon, and I chose blue. This 'Neon' effect made this image have a darker look and a 'neon' blue look and a sort of snowy, frosty, icy look on the tree.

I used the 'Hypnotic' effect. It gave it a spiral look.

I took a image of these two dogs in the park. I used the 'Neon' effect using the color bright green. I thought it gave this photo a night neon green look.

I also used the 'Hypnotic' effect and it also gave it a spiral look.

This image was of a drawing of lights. I used the 'Heat Map 2.0' effect. I thought it made the image more warmer and it gave a nice, different, and interesting look.

I took this image of my dog, Riley, along the stairwell of my house. I used the 'HSL Filter' effect. I think that this effect gave this image a warm, poetic look of my dog and of this image.

DIPTYCH

This was called a diptych assignment. It was to combine two images that you took and connect them together in some way. I tried either using two photos of the same thing (example: two photos of different eyes) or connecting the photos using lines.  

 

Lanscape Series Finale

This is my final landscape series. I combined landscape series #1 and landscape series #2 and edited them. I  made my images flow by posting the first set of my cloudy and city - like images first, and then posting my Hawaii and tropical images. It also may appear that I took photos of mostly water landscapes. I used a found approach and looked mostly just for beautiful and calm images. I also thought that my images kind of went from cool colors to more of warm type of colors.
